TELUS Standardizes on Borland® ALM Solutions to Boost Software Development Capabilities

Shift in software development methodology should accelerate the development of new applications

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. - Dec 13, 2004 : Borland Software Corporation (Nasdaq NM: BORL) today announced that TELUS, the second largest telecommunications company in Canada, has chosen Borland's software development solutions as part of a shift in the way its information services teams design and develop software. By standardizing on Borland® Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions, TELUS hopes to accelerate its application development cycle and enhance its ability to perform analysis, design and testing activities for new systems development projects.

Designed to increase development efficiency and accuracy in project management, the Borland ALM solution, comprised of CaliberRM™ and Together®, will assist the analysis, design, modeling and testing activities of TELUS' systems development lifecycle process.
