Scandent To Deliver Borland-Specific Consulting & Education Services
Relationship to provide a dedicated Borland Competency Center focused on vertical solutions, implementation best practices and methodologies
SAN JOSE, Calif. (Borland Conference 2004) - Sep 13, 2004 : Borland Software Corporation (NASDAQ: NM: BORL), a global leader in platform independent solutions for Software Delivery Optimization, has selected Scandent Solutions, Inc., as an authorized Consulting & Education Services delivery partner in the United States.
Scandent Solutions, a part of the Scandent Group, is a leading systems integration firm serving several Fortune 500 clients in customized software development using large, on-site and offshore development teams. Borland’s industry leading Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) products will enable Scandent to more efficiently and effectively manage its distributed development teams and improve application time-to-market.
As part of the agreement, Scandent will leverage its vast experience in targeted vertical markets to increase the deployment of Borland solutions by aligning Borland’s technology to domain-specific applications. Scandent has a significant presence and in the areas of manufacturing, logistics, banking and financial services, insurance and government. Additionally, Scandent is developing a Borland Competency Center to maintain the highest level of resident skills on Borland technology and will be a core part of evolving Borland’s education catalog, consulting service offerings and implementation methodologies and best practices.
