Borland Schedules Annual Stockholders' Meeting for May 14, 2004

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. - Jan 16, 2004 : Borland Software Corporation (Nasdaq NM: BORL) today announced that its 2004 Annual Meeting of Stockholders has been scheduled to be held on Friday, May 14, 2004. Last year, the company's Annual Meeting was held on June 12, 2003. The record date for determining eligibility to vote at the 2004 Annual Meeting will be March 31, 2004.
